HISTORY
In 2004, the founder, Maia, picked up a camera and started taking pictures as a hobby. Back then she used disposable and PowerShot cameras. Then she left it behind for 10 years. She picked up a camera again in 2014 and never looked back.
But before she became a professional photographer and graphic designer, skincare was always something she had fun with. She created skincare routines for her family and friends and recommended products for their skin problems as she too, gets pimples easily. She also didn't like her skin complexion in photos, so she invested over 12 years into skincare knowledge and how she can achieve flawless skin.
Her Flexitarian lifestyle inspired her to change her skincare and makeup products to more cleaner formulas. Therefore, going vegan and plant-based. After all, it made her feel better and look great! She wanted the same thing for her skin.

Cosmetics are not registered with the FDA, but the FDA regulates cosmetics and their labeling. Claims that intended to affect/change structure of skin, hair or body are considered drug claims by the FDA. Any product with these claims will be considered not-approved drugs, and selling not approved drugs is illegal.
